The main focus of this study is on the factors that influence Information Technology thirdyear students' decisions regarding their desired track. The descriptive method was combined with
comparative techniques and correlation analysis. The researchers treated the surveyed data, which
was collected in one week via a survey questionnaire, by performing frequency counts, means and
percentage computations, and analysis. Through simple random sampling, the research
participants in this study are all third-year students at Cagayan State University Aparri Campus in
the academic year 2022-2023.
