The underlying objective of this study is to identify the factors that influence freshmen
students' decision to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology as a college degree.
The researchers want to know how these various factors shaped every BSIT Freshman's decision
to delve into Information Technology at Cagayan State University-Aparri Campus. The data from
the respondents was collected and analyzed using the random sampling technique, yielding a total
of 186 BSIT 1st-year students
